My name is Ssemombwe Sunday, founder and director of Ssedan Children Foundation (SCF).
Growing up in Katwe, one of Kampala’s toughest slums, I experienced hunger, loss, and hopelessness. I lost my mother at just two years old and grew up without the love and protection every child deserves. I know the struggles of children who go to bed hungry, miss school, and face life alone.
Because I lived this reality, I started SCF to give children what I never had — love, education, safety, and hope for a better tomorrow.
